Please be advised that starting with the 2022-2023 soccer season all K-6 grade Emerson Eagles club players must participate in the Emerson Recreation Soccer League in the fall. This change is in line with the current policies of all other Emerson travel team sports (baseball, softball), as well as surrounding towns soccer programs.

Parents will receive an email detailing the tryout schedule for the upcoming travel season. An email blast will also go out with information for the rec soccer sign ups and deadlines. Travel teams will be created based on who attends the tryouts and are registered for rec soccer. Those who can not attend the tryout, but are interested in playing travel and have already registered for rec soccer will also be considered.

In addition, the group that provides soccer training to all of our travel teams as well as our K-2 rec program, will be expanded to include training all rec teams from grades K-6. So, if your child plays travel soccer they could get up to 3 sessions a week of practice with a trainer in the fall (2x a week for travel and 1x a week for rec). Our goal is to provide players (rec and travel) more instruction that translates to a better overall soccer experience.
