U09 GIRLS HEAD COACH

Coach Dillow has lived in Emerson for 7 years and has one child enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Soccer has always been Dillow’s passion, playing throughout her entire High School (River Dell) & college (Wesley College) career.

U9 & 11 GIRLS ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Carcich has lived in Emerson for 5 years and has two children enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Carcich has been the Assistant Rec Soccer Coach and Assistant Club Soccer Coach for Emerson Eagles and is now the Assistant Coach for Emerson Eagles U9 Girls and Assistant Coach for Emerson U11 Girls.

U11A GIRLS HEAD COACH

Coach Gray has lived in Emerson for 12 years and has two children enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Gray played at Bergen Catholic and Lafayette College & has over 10 years of higher level coaching including varsity head coach at Bergen Catholic, assistant coach at Ramapo College and varsity head coach at Northern Valley Demarest.

U11 GIRLS ASSISTANT CLUB COACH

Coach Mulhern has been an Emerson resident for 38 years and currently has two children enrolled with the Emerson soccer program. He has coached 12 different soccer teams in town; not including the club program which has participated in 7 seasons of competitive play. In addition to soccer, he has coached football (both tackle and flag), softball, baseball, wrestling, basketball, and track in Emerson.

U09 BOYS HEAD COACH

Coach Grompone has lived in Emerson for 11 years and has had two children go through the Emerson soccer program and currently has two children in the program. Grompone has 11 years of coaching boys and girls travel and rec soccer in Emerson. In addition to being the U09 Head Coach, Grompone is also an Emerson Soccer Board member.

U09 BOYS ASSISTANT COACH

Coach McLaughlin has lived in Emerson for 8 years and has one child enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Soccer is in his genes and he played from 4-18 on Rec, Travel, Club, and HS Varsity teams – most notably finished 2nd in the NJSIAA Group 1 State Tournament 1998 (Cresskill).

U11 BOYS HEAD COACH

Coach Sweeny has lived in Emerson for 10 years and has two children enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Sweeny played HS Soccer and currently plays in an adult soccer league. In addition to being the U10 Head Coach, he is also an Emerson Soccer Board Member.

U11 BOYS ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Gianatasio has lived in Emerson for 10 years and has one child enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. In addition to being the U10 Boy’s Head Coach, Gianatasio is also a soccer travel & rec Assistant Coach, baseball travel Assistant Coach, rec L.L. coach & wrestling Assistant Coach as well as the President of Emerson L.L. Baseball & a member of the Emerson Rec commission.

U11 BOYS ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Trass has lived in Emerson for 6 years and has two children enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program. Trass played 3 years of HS soccer at RiverDell and in addition to being the U10 Assistant Coach, he is also an Emerson Soccer Board Member & Assistant Coach for Travel Baseball.

U13 BOYS COACH

Coach Frank Velez has lived in Emerson for 11 years and has two children enrolled in the Emerson Soccer program, Christian and Alexander. Coach Velez has 6 years of coaching Rec Soccer under his belt and 2 years of coaching Travel Soccer. He also coaches baseball and basketball for the town of Emerson. Frank Velez was also voted nicest eyes in 8th grade.
